The Vegan Side of Me

I am a Vegan.

After mulling the idea over for about a week, an hour ago I declared, "I am a Vegan".

By not eating diary or animal based products I will not be able to eat the junk food the I initially gravitate to. I am going to do my very best, but I am not going to deprive myself from the ever so often indulgence in cake or roast beef. Like I have done for the past six months with meat, I am going to avoid eating animal based products, but for me at least, I feel saying I will never eat meat or diary again will just immediately spark the cravings, and I would last a week and then give up. Additionally, I will do my best to avoid white flour and white rice. I am team whole grains. That is after I finish what is in my kitchen cabinet.

Todays Menu:
Slim Fast Shake (soy milk)
Apple
Ramen Noodles w/ Soy Sauce
Salad (lettuce, 1/4 Tomato, Balsamic Dressing Spray-10 Calories, Salt)

Lets see how my first official Vegan say goes tomorrow.
